In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu described Donald Trump as “the greatest friend Israel has in the White House,” but added that this does not mean Israel lacks other international partners. He pointed to India as one of the countries maintaining close relations with Israel, saying that many world leaders — particularly in the fields of defence, technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity — are seeking cooperation with Israel. Netanyahu also dismissed reports of any major rift between himself and Trump over Iran, saying the two leaders are aligned “99% of the time.” “Like any family or close friendship, there are occasional disagreements, but we usually resolve them,” he said. His comments come amid ongoing US-Iran talks, with some reports suggesting differences between Washington and Israel over how to approach Tehran. Both governments, however, have sought to downplay any divisions.
