Ali Bilal, an Afghan bodybuilder, once again secured the title at the prestigious “New York Pro” competition in the United States. The competition was held on Friday night, 8 May, where Bilal defeated Brazilian athlete Edvan Palmeira in the final round. In the contest, Edvan Palmeira finished in second place, while Eissa Ksieck of Indonesia claimed third. The Men’s Open Physique division contest between Ali Bilal and his Brazilian rival was reported to be highly competitive and closely contested. Bilal impressed the judges with his strong physical conditioning, balanced muscle size, clear definition, and confident stage presentation, ultimately earning the championship title. The Afghan athlete had previously also won the same competition. His career achievements further include the “Arnold Classic 2024” title and runner-up finishes at the “Mr. Olympia” competitions in 2024 and 2025.
