Authorities in Turkey report that a school shooting in Kahramanmaras has left nine people dead and 13 others injured. According to officials, a 14-year-old student opened fire on Wednesday, killing eight classmates and one teacher before injuring others. Six of the wounded are said to be in critical condition. The attacker reportedly died by suicide after the incident. Initial reports had listed fewer casualties, but updated investigations confirmed a higher toll. The Interior Minister stated that early evidence suggests the attack was not terror-related. This marks the second school shooting in Turkey within two days. A separate incident in Sanlıurfa on Tuesday left 16 students injured.
