According to the sources, the exact timing of the talks remains unclear, and it is not yet known whether the discussions are taking place directly or indirectly. Meanwhile, Donald Trump, speaking to NewsNation, indirectly referred to the start of the contacts, saying it would soon become clear whether the talks were proceeding in “good faith.” He added that the process would not take long. Tasnim News Agency, which is close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, also confirmed the start of the talks. Reports indicate that JD Vance has arrived in Islamabad to engage with Iranian officials. The talks are scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11. The U.S. delegation also includes the president’s special envoy and Jared Kushner. On the Iranian side, the delegation includes several political and media figures, led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
