Iran has proposed a 10-point plan as the basis for a comprehensive ceasefire agreement with the United States, according to details published by the Fars News Agency, citing an informed source. The proposal outlines the following key points:

  1. A complete halt to all forms of aggression against Iran and its allied resistance groups.
  1. The withdrawal of US combat forces from the region and a prohibition on any attacks against Iran from military bases, alongside a commitment to refrain from military deployments.
  1. Limited daily passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks under a monitored safe transit protocol with defined regulations.
  1. The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, as well as those imposed by the United Nations against Iran.
  1. Compensation for damages to Iran through the establishment of an investment and financial fund.

6.A commitment by Iran not to develop nuclear weapons. 7.Recognition by the United States of Iran’s right to uranium enrichment, with further negotiations on enrichment levels.

  1. Iran’s agreement to engage in discussions on bilateral and multilateral peace agreements with regional countries in line with its interests.
  1. Guarantees from all parties to refrain from attacks on resistance groups.
  2. The termination of all resolutions by the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors, along with the formal adoption of Iran’s commitments in a United Nations resolution.

The source added that Iran had earlier rejected a 15-point proposal from the United States and made any ceasefire conditional on the acceptance of its own plan. The United States has confirmed receiving the proposal and agreed to a temporary two-week ceasefire to allow further negotiations, but has not formally accepted all of Iran’s terms.
