Mikhail Galuzin, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, stated that Moscow is closely and with concern monitoring the military actions of Donald Trump, President of the United States. Galuzin made these remarks at the opening ceremony of the “Russia–Uzbekistan” conference titled “Strategic Cooperation in Eurasia.” He emphasized that due to the mistakes of Western countries led by the United States, instability and disorder in international relations have persisted, and the legal frameworks of global security are being weakened. According to him, this situation is one manifestation of what he described as “neo-colonialism.” The Russian deputy foreign minister further added that what he called Trump’s “military adventurism” is, in fact, an attempt to preserve the United States’ dominant position in the global system—an effort aimed, he said, at preventing the shift of economic growth centers and global trade flows toward regions such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He also described the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran as an example of this approach, calling it “unjustified.”
