An Iranian missile strike targeted Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on Friday, injuring at least 10 U.S. service members. U.S. sources reported that two of the injured sustained serious wounds, and several U.S. aerial refueling aircraft were also damaged in the attack. The strike, which involved a combination of missiles and drones, is considered one of the most serious breaches of U.S. air defenses during the month-long conflict with Iran. The U.S. military also confirmed the death of Soldier Benjamin N. Pennington, 26, from Kentucky. He died after being wounded in a March 1 attack on the same base and is the seventh U.S. service member killed in the conflict. U.S. Central Command stated that more than 300 American troops have been wounded during the war. Most have returned to duty, while some remain under medical treatment.
