The Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan says that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, during which they discussed the regional security situation and the unity of the Islamic world in detail. According to the statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia, and exchanged best wishes. During the conversation, Mohammed bin Salman emphasized unity and coordination among the Islamic Ummah, stating that the Muslim world currently needs unity more than ever. The statement added that Shehbaz Sharif briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and resolving issues through dialogue. According to the statement, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and diplomatic efforts for peace and stability, and both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination between their countries at all levels.
