An Israeli media outlet, Channel 12, has published what it claims are the proposed terms of a possible agreement between the United States and Iran.
According to the report, the proposed agreement would:
- Dismantle and separate Iran’s current nuclear capabilities.
- Ban uranium enrichment inside Iranian territory.
- Transfer Iran’s enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
- Close nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow.
- Give the IAEA full access to Iran’s nuclear information.
- Halt the use of proxy forces in the region.
- Stop funding and arming of militia groups.
- Keep the Strait of Hormuz open without restrictions.
- Postpone decisions on Iran’s ballistic missile programme.
- Limit missile use to defensive purposes only.
- Lift all sanctions imposed on Iran.
- Support Iran’s peaceful nuclear programme at the Bushehr
Nuclear Power Plant. - Remove the threat of automatic reimposition of sanctions.
