In a serious incident at LaGuardia Airport, an Air Canada Express aircraft collided with a fire truck while landing, causing severe damage to the nose of the plane. The aircraft, operating as Flight 8646, was traveling from Montreal to New York. According to reports, four people — including the pilot, co-pilot, and two firefighters — were injured, and two of them suffered bone fractures. The airport was temporarily closed for investigation, and flights were either canceled or diverted to other airports. Images released from the scene show that the front section of the aircraft was heavily damaged, and the incident caused significant damage. Authorities have not yet announced the exact number of any additional casualties or injuries.
