Dawood Naji, head of the Political Committee of the Afghanistan Freedom Front, in his latest remarks described the Taliban as a “force of division, coercion, and destruction in Afghanistan.” In a message posted on X, he added that Afghanistan’s Shia and Sunni communities have always lived with respect and solidarity, sharing both sorrow and joy, and will continue to do so. Naji also said that the Taliban are a “condition and a disease” for the country and that although they cause significant suffering, they will not be able to bring Afghanistan to its downfall.
