Emomali Rahmon has announced that Tajikistan will send more than 3,610 tons of humanitarian aid to Iran. According to the presidential office, the shipment includes 45 tons of medicine, along with a large quantity of medical supplies, hygiene items, children’s clothing, food products, household goods, bedding, tents, construction materials, and other essential items. The statement added that the aid has been organized into 110 cargo trucks, which have already departed for Iran and are expected to reach their destinations soon. Earlier reports indicated that following recent developments—including an alleged attack by the United States and Israel on February 28—more than 1,200 people were killed. According to United Nations figures, over three million people have been displaced inside Iran.
