Reports indicate that notices have been circulated in several cities across Pakistan urging residents to inform the police about the whereabouts of Afghan migrants. According to these notices, which were reportedly distributed on Sunday (March 14), a reward has been offered to individuals who provide information about the location of Afghan migrants. The initiative is said to have been carried out by the Pakistani police. This development comes as arrests and deportations of Afghan migrants in Pakistan have intensified amid rising tensions and military clashes between the Taliban and Pakistan. Following the Taliban’s return to power in 2021, thousands of Afghan citizens fled to Pakistan in an attempt to escape security challenges and economic hardship in Afghanistan.
