David Sacks Warns Prolonged War Could Put Israel at Serious Risk

David Sacks, an adviser on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency in the administration of Donald Trump, has warned that a prolonged war between Iran and Israel could place Israel at serious risk. Speaking in a podcast, Sacks said the United States should declare victory and exit the conflict, arguing that Washington has already weakened Iran’s military capabilities. He suggested that de-escalation could be achieved through a ceasefire agreement or negotiations with Iran. Sacks also cautioned that Israel is currently facing intense attacks from Iran and warned that if the war continues for several more weeks, Israel could face severe consequences. His remarks were reported by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which noted that although current tensions are high, the scale of attacks remains smaller than during the 12-day conflict earlier this year. The war began when the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran on March 9. Iran and its ally Hezbollah later responded with attacks on Israel and other locations in the Middle East, raising regional tensions and disrupting global oil markets.
