Afghanistan has officially obtained membership in the international street sports organization KARDO International Street Culture Organization for the first time, a step that allows Afghan athletes to participate in the organization’s global programs and competitions. Officials responsible for street sports in Afghanistan said that with this membership, Afghan athletes have joined other countries active in street sports and street culture, enabling them to take part in international events and programs organized by KARDO. According to the officials, the membership was achieved through the efforts of Salman Soltani, the founder and head of street sports in Afghanistan. He has also been introduced as an ambassador of the KARDO international organization in the country. Representatives of the sport said that joining the organization could help promote Afghanistan’s street sports on the global stage and create new opportunities for young athletes to participate and develop in this field.
