A court in Sri Lanka has ordered that the bodies of 84 Iranian sailors be handed over to the embassy of Iran. The sailors were killed last week following an attack on an Iranian warship near the country’s coast. According to local media reports, the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Dena was struck by a submarine from the United States while returning from joint naval exercises with India. The incident comes amid ongoing conflict involving United States and Israel against Iran, which has significantly affected global markets, driven up oil prices, and disrupted international trade and travel.
