India’s national cricket team has won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup after a commanding victory against New Zealand in the final. In the championship match held on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India scored 255 runs for the loss of five wickets. In response, New Zealand managed only 159 runs in their 20 overs, losing the match by a margin of 96 runs. A total of 20 teams, including Afghanistan national cricket team, participated in this edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The tournament was jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The competition began on February 7 and concluded on Sunday with India lifting the title.
