Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum of the United Arab Emirates to discuss recent regional security developments. In a post on X, Prince Khalid said the two sides condemned attacks attributed to Iran against Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries. The Dubai Media Office said the attacks constituted “a clear violation of international conventions and the sovereignty, security, and safety of nations.” It added that both sides stressed such actions carry serious consequences for regional and international security and stability. Prince Khalid also said the two officials reaffirmed their full solidarity and commitment to supporting all necessary response measures. They added that their countries reserve the right to take all necessary steps to safeguard their capabilities and ensure the safety and security of all residents.
