The Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan said that Afghan forces carried out operations on Friday evening at around 9 p.m. in areas near the Durand Line. According to the ministry, the operations targeted positions of the Pakistan regime in the districts of Shorawak District in Kandahar, Dand Patan District in Paktia Province, and Lalpur District in Nangarhar Province. The ministry described the operations as part of what it called an “anti-arrogance” campaign against the Pakistan regime along the border. Further details about the outcomes of the operations were not immediately available.
