The Afghan Consulate in Bonn, Germany has announced that the issuance and distribution of passports for Afghan citizens have resumed after a prolonged suspension.

In a statement, the consulate said the resumption of passport services follows the transfer of its management and affairs to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The consulate added that citizens may now apply for passports in accordance with the procedures and guidelines that have been announced.
