As the war involving the United States and Israel against Iran enters its fifth day, the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has reported that 1,097 civilians have been killed and 5,402 others injured in Iran so far. HRANA, which is affiliated with the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists in Iran, said on Wednesday (March 13) that 181 children under the age of 10 are among the নিহত, while 100 children are among the injured. The agency also stated that it has received reports of an additional 880 deaths, which are currently under verification and classification. According to HRANA, at least 104 attacks were carried out across 19 provinces in Iran over the past 24 hours, resulting in 31 civilian casualties, including both deaths and injuries. HRANA said the data were collected through its established network of collaborators inside Iran. The figures are based on a combination of field reports, local contacts, medical and emergency sources, civil society networks, and publicly available materials, including images, videos, and official statements. Each reported incident is registered and assessed through an internal review process prior to publication. The United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on Saturday (March 10), marking the beginning of the conflict. During the initial wave of strikes, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with several senior officials, including the Minister of Defense and the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), were reported killed. The Iranian Red Crescent has so far confirmed more than 555 deaths but has not specified how many of the victims were civilians or military personnel.
