PARIS: Reports indicate that loud explosions have been heard in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait amid escalating regional tensions. Qatari media reported that Iran has launched several missiles in the direction of Qatar. According to the reports, alarms were triggered near Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Meanwhile, Iran’s state news agency, Tasnim, stated that several U.S. military bases in the region have also been targeted.
