KABUL: Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban, announced that the group has launched large-scale offensive operations against Pakistani military centers and installations along the Durand Line. In a message posted on X, Mujahid said the action was taken in response to what he described as the “repeated rebellions and provocations of a specific military circle in Pakistan.” Earlier, Taliban officials in Nangarhar had also reported the start of attacks against Pakistan. The Taliban stated that the operations were carried out in retaliation for recent Pakistani airstrikes in the Afghan provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika.
