WASHINGTON: Law enforcement officials in the U.S. have reported that they shot a man who attempted to illegally enter President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. According to Reuters, the individual is identified as Austin Tucker Martin, a 21-year-old from North Carolina. He was attempting to gain access to Trump’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida, while Trump was in Washington D.C. at the time. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and investigations into the incident are ongoing. Previously, there have been two reported attempts to breach security at Trump’s residence in 2024.
