VERONA: The closing ceremony of the 25th Winter Olympic Games in 2026 took place on Sunday, February 22, in Verona, Italy, officially marking the end of the event after more than two weeks of competition. According to international media reports, the ceremony was attended by officials and athletes, concluding the games that commenced on February 4. The opening ceremony was held in Milan on February 6. Based on the unofficial medal table, Norway secured first place with 18 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze medals. The United States followed in second place with 12 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze medals, while the Netherlands came in third with 10 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
