KABUL: The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) has reported that at least 16 members of a single family were killed in a Pakistani airstrike on a residential home in Nangarhar province. The victims included men, women, and children, ranging in age from one to 80 years old. The organization described the strike as a “serious violation of international humanitarian law” and called for an independent investigation and immediate support for the affected families. Abdul Salam Zaeef, former Taliban ambassador to Islamabad, condemned the attack, labeling it a “cowardly act” and a clear violation of Islamic principles, international law, and neighborly norms.
