TEHRAN: Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, responded to U.S. pressures by emphasizing that the country will not succumb to external pressures and will not bow to bullying. He added that through unity and cooperation between the people and the government, they will overcome challenges. U.S. media outlets, including The New York Times and Axios, have warned that any military action by the U.S. against Iran could be complex and risky. Iran possesses extensive military and missile capabilities, and any attack could impact global energy prices and regional security. Analysts argue that there are no easy or low-cost military options available, and public opinion in the U.S. is largely opposed to a new war in the Middle East.
