TEHRAN: Satellite images indicate that Iran has recently reinforced new structures at a key military base, covering the installations with a concrete shield and layers of earth, according to media reports. The images also show that entrance tunnels at a nuclear-related site — which were bombed by the United States during a 12-day conflict last year involving Israel, have now been sealed. Additional images reveal newly constructed entrance tunnels near another facility and repairs to a missile base that was damaged during the same 12-day conflict. In a report by Reuters, the satellite imagery is said to highlight Tehran’s ongoing activities amid current tensions with Israel and the United States. Meanwhile, Washington is continuing diplomatic efforts to reach a new nuclear agreement with Iran aimed at limiting its atomic program and preventing further escalation.
