Six dead, 46 injured in bus crash in Southeast Brazil

KABUL: At least six people were killed and 46 others injured after a passenger bus overturned on a highway in southeastern Brazil, authorities said. The accident occurred on the federal BR-153 highway near the city of Marília. Brazilian federal highway police reported that the bus was carrying farm workers traveling from Maranhão to Santa Catarina to assist with apple harvesting. The vehicle veered off the road and overturned, and rescue teams transported the injured to local hospitals. The condition of the injured passengers has not been officially released, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash.
