KABUL: The Taliban’s Supreme Court has announced that tomorrow (Wednesday) is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. In a statement, the court said the announcement was made based on information provided by the Central Moon Sighting Committee and testimony from a number of citizens in the provinces of Parwan, Kandahar, Zabul, and Helmand, confirming the sighting of the Ramadan crescent. Also, Saudi Arabia has announced tomorrow the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
