JERUSALEM: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said any potential agreement between the United States and Iran must include the full removal of enriched uranium and the dismantling of Iran’s enrichment infrastructure. Netanyahu said that merely halting uranium enrichment would not be sufficient, stressing that all related equipment and infrastructure must be completely removed. He also called for addressing Iran’s ballistic missile program and limiting the range of its missiles to 300 kilometers. The remarks come as the second round of Iran–U.S. talks continues in Geneva. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left Tehran on Sunday to take part in the negotiations. Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said that if the talks fail, he would support Israeli strikes on Iran’s missile program. The developments come amid rising concerns over regional security and Iran’s nuclear activities.
