Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan sets world record with 700 T20 wickets KABUL: Afghanistan’s Twenty20 captain Rashid Khan has set a new world record by becoming the first player in cricket history to take 700 wickets in T20 matches. The Afghanistan Cricket Board said Rashid Khan achieved the milestone during a match against the United Arab Emirates, claiming his 700th T20 wicket. With this achievement, Rashid Khan became the first bowler ever to reach the 700-wicket mark in T20 cricket, registering the landmark both in his own name and for Afghanistan. Rashid Khan has so far featured in 518 T20 matches across domestic and international competitions
