ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, leader of Pakistan’s Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party, has once again criticized the policies of the Pakistani government, stating that the country has no good relations with any of its neighbors. In a press conference, Maulana Fazlur Rehman claimed that the U.S. does not want Russia and China to invest in Afghanistan and, for that purpose, is using Pakistan as a proxy group. He warned that the current policies of the Pakistani government are unacceptable to the Pakistani people, as the country presently has poor relations with all its neighbors. The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam urged the Pakistani government to foster good relations with all neighboring countries, including Afghanistan. Previously, Fazlur Rehman has been outspoken in his criticisms of the Pakistani government, emphasizing the need for strengthening and expanding ties with neighboring countries. It is noteworthy that all trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan has been stalled for over three months, leading to strained relations between the two countries.
