KABUL: In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026, the Ireland team achieved a remarkable milestone today by scoring 235 runs against Oman within the designated 20 overs, establishing the highest target of the tournament so far. According to the schedule for the 2026 T20 World Cup, today marks the 22nd match of Group B between Ireland and Oman. Oman won the toss and elected to field, inviting Ireland to bat first. Ireland set an impressive target of 236 runs after losing five wickets. As of now, Oman has scored 77 runs with the loss of two wickets in nine overs. In this year’s T20 World Cup, three matches are being held today, the first between Ireland and Oman, the second between Scotland and England, and the third between South Africa and New Zealand. Notably, in yesterday’s match, the Zimbabwean team made history by defeating the strong Australian team.
