According to the UN, youth and community members play a crucial role in establishing peace in various regions worldwide, highlighting that peace is not a distant goal but a pressing necessity that begins with daily choices. The message outlines ten key steps to strengthen peace, including listening to diverse voices, educating on peace and security, speaking out against discrimination and violence, preventing the spread of misinformation, recognizing human rights, and supporting youth communities. The UN encourages individuals to utilize their time and resources for positive community change, support refugees and displaced families, and promote the message of peace through lawful, peaceful, and innovative means. In the concluding part, the message emphasizes the importance of creating a “Circle of Peace” that brings people together to collaboratively search for solutions to community issues. The UN views this circle as an effective approach for foundational peace and unity.
