TEHRAN: A large fire broke out at the Jannat Abad market in Tehran on Tuesday morning. Ten firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was brought under control around 12:30 PM. The Iranian Emergency Medical Services announced that there were no fatalities, although a few individuals suffered from smoke inhalation. Reports indicate that the market, which has over 100 stalls, sustained significant damage and had previously received several safety warnings. Detailed information regarding the extent of the damage has not yet been released.
