KABUL: The Afghanistan national cricket team secured a 61-run victory against Scotland in their first warm-up match ahead of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup. Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 184 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In the second half, the Scottish team struggled against Afghanistan’s bowlers, managing only 123 runs before losing all their wickets in 19.3 overs. With this victory, the Afghanistan national cricket team is set to face the West Indies on Wednesday, at 2 PM local time in Bangalore, India, as they prepare for the World Cup.
