KABUL: Afghanistan’s under-19 national cricket team showcased a remarkable performance, defeating Tanzania by nine wickets in their third match of the World Cup. This victory marks their third consecutive win. The match started earlier today and concluded shortly before this report. Tanzania began its innings but managed to score only 85 runs in 50 overs, setting a target of 86 runs for Afghanistan. The Afghan under-19 players demonstrated steady batting skills, reaching 88 runs in just 12.4 overs and sealing the game with a nine-wicket win. Previously, the Afghan team had also triumphed over South Africa and the West Indies in their other two matches. With this victory, Afghanistan tops the Group D standings in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
