KABUL: The organization “Education Cannot Wait” has published the story of a girl who has been deprived of education in Afghanistan. This girl expresses that being denied education feels like falling into prison, stating, “I just want to learn; for me, education means freedom.” The organization continues its campaign to support girls’ right to education by raising the voices of Afghan girls and sharing their stories of deprivation. It has been over four years since girls in Afghanistan lost the right to education beyond the sixth grade, leaving millions of girls unable to continue their studies.
