KABUL: The U19 Cricket World Cup is set to kick off today, Thursday, with matches hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia. On the first day of the tournament, teams from India and the USA, Zimbabwe and Scotland, as well as Tanzania and the West Indies will compete. Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team will play its opening match against South Africa on Friday. In preparation for these games, Afghanistan played two practice matches against Australia and Sri Lanka. The final match of the tournament is scheduled to take place on February 6.
