TEHRAN: Flight tracking website Flightradar24 reported that Iran’s airspace reopened to flights on the morning of Thursday, after being closed for several hours. Earlier that day, flights had been suspended due to security concerns and potential threats. U.S. President Donald Trump had previously stated that he was informed the killings during the crackdown on protests were slowing down and added that there were no plans for mass executions. However, he did not rule out the possibility of U.S. military action, saying, “We’ll see how things progress.” Iran’s decision to reopen its airspace comes amid heightened concerns over security and potential external threats.
