She emphasized that the Afghanistan Freedom Front has verified recent reports indicating that the Taliban have shown disrespect towards the remains of Commander Zafar. Adams added, “If your senator cannot cut off funding for the Taliban, they are worthless in doing anything else, because stopping funding for terrorism is easy.” Observers believe that the Taliban’s disrespect for Commander Zafar’s dead body not only constitutes a direct crime against a military commander but also reveals the violent and ruthless nature of the group.
