Unknown gunmen kill young man during prayer in Khost

KHOST: Local sources in Khost have reported that unidentified gunmen shot and killed a young man while he was praying in a mosque in Sabari district. According to sources, the victim, named Naqeebullah, had no personal disputes. It was also noted that his brother is currently detained by the Taliban. This incident is part of a troubling trend, as mysterious killings have recently increased in several provinces of the country. Previously, local sources in Logar reported that a man recently returned from Iran was also killed.
