KABUL: In the latest One Day International (ODI) rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Afghan cricket stars Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi Afsin have retained the top two positions among the world’s best all-rounders. According to the ICC’s recent announcement, Azmatullah Omarzai holds the first position with 296 points, while Mohammad Nabi stands second with 292 points. Zimbabwean player Sikandar Raza follows closely in third place with 290 points. In addition to these two Afghan players, Rashid Khan has secured the fifth position in the ODI rankings for bowlers. It is noteworthy that before Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi was the first Afghan player to achieve the top all-rounder status in ODIs. However, with Omarzai’s consistently outstanding performances, he has claimed this title. Both players achieved these rankings in June.
