Young shopkeeper killed by unknown gunmen in Kunar

ASADABAD: A young shopkeeper was shot dead by unknown armed individuals in the Pich Dara district of Kunar province, local sources confirmed. According to sources, the victim, identified as Najibullah, was shot on Wednesday evening in the Barkundi area while returning home from his shop. The attackers used a pistol to carry out the assassination, but the motive for the attack remains unclear. The Taliban have not yet commented on the incident. This incident follows the recent killing of a female doctor in Nangarhar province just four days earlier, who was shot by unknown gunmen near the Taliban command in Jalalabad.
