KHOST: Local sources in Khost province said that Pakistani fighter jets conducted patrols over the area last night, causing significant fear and sleeplessness among residents. According to reports, four Pakistani fighter jets flew over the districts of Bak and Alishero, particularly in the regions of Babrak Tana, Dobagi, and Sudak around 11:30 PM. The noise from the aircraft was so loud that it woke residents, prompting some to temporarily leave their homes. Residents expressed that the low-altitude flights created an atmosphere of anxiety and panic, adding that while this is not the first time Pakistani aircraft have entered Khost’s airspace, last night’s flights were unprecedented and concerning. So far, the Taliban have not responded to these incidents. Previously, Pakistani jets have targeted positions associated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Paktika, Paktia, and Khost, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children.
