WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump, on Wednesday unveiled a new program in Washington aimed at the growth and expansion of artificial intelligence (AI). He stated that the United States was the first country to initiate competition in the field of AI and is now determined to emerge victorious. The program includes the following key points:
- Increase in AI Technology Exports: There will be an increase in the export of AI technologies, such as software and advanced equipment, to other countries.
-Easing Environmental Regulations: Environmental regulations that previously made it difficult to establish large data centers will be relaxed.
- Reduction of Domestic Restrictions: Internal restrictions on the use and production of AI will be decreased.
Additionally, part of this initiative involves collaboration with the United Arab Emirates. Under this agreement, the UAE will be allowed to use advanced American chips that were previously restricted from export due to concerns about them reaching China.
