Production Factory Complex opens in Kabul

KABUL: A new production factory complex was inaugurated during a ceremony on Monday in Kabul. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Taliban officials including Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, the private sector and others. In his speech, the Mullah Baradar highlighted the reopening of this complex as a significant step towards boosting domestic production and strengthening national industries. He emphasized that the renewed activity of this complex will create job opportunities for many citizens and play a vital role in the country’s economic development. The complex currently produces 105 different types of products, including agricultural machinery and equipment for agricultural complexes, spare parts for industrial and small factories, transportation vehicles, and metal components. Additionally, several products from this complex were showcased during the inauguration ceremony.
