KABUL: Al Jazeera reported that a training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed in the capital, Dhaka, resulting in at least 19 deaths and over 100 injuries. According to the report, the aircraft collided with a building of a private school in the Uttara area of Dhaka before crashing yesterday. The training aircraft, an F-7 BGI model made in China, took off from the airport at 1:06 PM local time. Reports indicate that students were either in class or taking exams at the time of the incident. The source confirmed that 19 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the crash.
