KABUL: A passenger ship with hundreds of people onboard caught fire near the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia, resulting in the loss of five lives, including a pregnant woman, CNN reported. According to reports, more than 280 passengers and crew members have been rescued, and evacuation efforts are still ongoing. Local fishermen were also involved in the rescue operations, helping to save individuals who had donned life vests and were swept away by the waves to nearby islands. There are currently no reports of injuries, and the exact number of crew members and passengers remains unclear. Authorities have stated that the cause of the fire will be investigated.
